The Best Restaurants of
If you're looking for the best restaurants of St. Augustine you've come to the right place! We have some of the freshest seafood around and some of the best chefs preparing their tastiest dishes.
As a local I have to say that I am a seafood lover and one of my favorites is fried shrimp! I have friends that live all over the country, but the only place they want to eat fried shrimp is right here in St. Augustine, lightly breaded and fried to a golden perfection! Yum!
Don't just take my word for it though try them for yourself, as well as all the other terrific seafood - a variety of fish, scallops, oysters, clams, crab legs, and the list goes on. And don't forget the clam chowder and the gator tail!
If you're not so much a seafood lover or just have a taste for something else we've got that, too! How about a fabulous grilled steak, a delicious Italian dish or something in between. The restaurants are diverse and each one has it's own specialties and uniqueness, be it location, food, or ambience. A family dinner or a romantic evening just for two. Whatever your pleasure I'm sure you will be able to find just what you want and maybe a few surprises on the way!
If you have wandered around Downtown St. Augustine you have undoubtedly seen all the beautiful historical buildings and the quaint cobblestone streets. Some of these restaurants are down those lovely streets, nestled under the old oak trees that have been around for decades. Others are near the Bayfront with porches or verandas to sit on as you watch the town go by and take in more of the gorgeous views and sights to see. And most likely as you go looking for these restaurants you will probably discover a shop or two that you haven't seen before. That seems to always happen to me. Just more FUN!
